The Trustees had three meetings in November..

Nov. 19^th was a called meeting with members of the personnel committee and Bill and Patsy to discuss what their job duties were as outlined in the custodial job description dated Nov. 1997. They told the committees present what they did in their routine cleaning of the church and what they did not do any longer that was on the job description of 1997. There is a record of some deleted items from the written job description of 1997 and Patsy informed the committee that in recent years some of the duties that were assigned to the custodial staff had verbally been deleted by Joseph Vest and recent past trustee committees. This meeting was for the purpose of trying to define the needs that this church has in the area of custodial duties ad trying to formulate a new custodial job description.

Nov. 26^th Mr. Harold Price with the KBC Church Development Department met with five trustees and the Chairman of the Deacons and the Chairman of the Budget Committee to discuss ways to improvement in our church facilities not only in appearance but in educational growth as well.

Building evaluations have been completed by the trustees and six other individuals who serve on other committees. We hope to use this gathered information to set the priorities for the updating and maintenance of the building in the future.

We have received the reimbursement from Brotherhood Mutual on the water damage lost in the basement.

Attachment # 2

On December 4, 2006 the Mercer Association of Baptist met at the associational building for the executive board meeting. Bro. Phil Yates moderated. There were twenty-one in attendance with thirteen churches in the association represented. Mrs. Gayle Horn the newly elected associational WMU director made numerous positive comments about Irma Woodrow's service and leadership as the WMU associational director in the past year.

Churches in the Mercer Association filled 1430 shoesboxes for the Operation Christmas Child project this year.

Attachment: Trustee request

As chairperson of the trustee committee I wish to request the nominating committee to inquire of Ernie Vaught and Wayne Hart if their desire is to continue to serve on the trustee committee. And if they do not wish to serve on the trustee committee that the nominating committee search for two male replacements to serve. We have had several meetings over the last few months and Mr. Vaught has attended on and a half and Mr. Hart has not attended any. The secretary has sent out cards for the non-scheduled meetings and that has been unsuccessful.
